Parvati The god Shiva is frequently depicted in a powerful masculine form accompanied by Parvati, his wife. Parvati, the Mother of All Creation, is usually portrayed as sublimely feminine, her gaze fixed upon Shiva, suggesting the union of male and female so integral to worship of this deity.
