The PRISM Saxophone Quartet and Music From China perform Chen Yi�s Septet for Erhu, Pipa, Percussion, and Saxophone Quartet (2008). Since earning degrees at the Central Conservatory in Bejing and Columbia University, she has served on the faculty of the Peabody Conservatory and received the Charles Ives Living Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. She currently is on the faculty of the University of Missouri�Kansas City.
