Jades have been excavated at numerous Stone Age sites across China. Click each dot for a reference to the excavation report of the site. Thirty-two jades in the Freer collection are associated with the Liangzhu良渚 Neolithic culture (circa 3300–1250 BCE). They were found at three sites marked on the map with a star inside a square.
