Composer Ming-Hsui Yen conducts her piece, Chinatown for Yangqin, Pipa, Percussion, and Saxophone Quartet (2008). The work was inspired by her visits to various Chinatowns in cities across the United States. Ming-Hsui Yen holds dual degrees in composition and piano from the University of Michigan and Eastman School of Music.
