The Decorative Modes of the Kenzan Style
The exhibition, The Potter's Brush: The Kenzan Style in Japanese Ceramics, presented six modes of decoration that comprise the Kenzan style, beginning with first-generation Kenzan production in the early eighteenth century and ending with art-market imitations of the late nineteenth century.
