Clay: hard, dense, grayish-white. Porcelain.
Glaze: flesh parts - unglazed, covered by brown patina; robe -blue enamel with black decoration; cowl - silvered enamel with gold decoration; ornaments - gilded; rock - red brown (lacquer over gold foil).
